#MondayMotivation – Building your Best Possible Future

What if I told you that there is a way to guarantee that you’ll have an amazing future? That everything will go amazingly for you… That you will achieve everything you want and even more in every aspect of your life…
Sounds too good to be true… I know..
But there is actually a way!
On this #MondayMotivation I will dig into this way of “Creating your Best Possible Future” but I need to warn you that it’s not a really easy thing to do… And if it was easy everybody would do it… It’s something like a lifestyle change, like healthy eating. You need to constantly work on it… And the results are guaranteed.
So… Let’s begin with the law of gravity. I bet you’re familiar with this. It applies to everyone and everything. No matter our age, our families, our past. It applies to animals, humans, objects, food. It is a law.
Just like gravity, there are a lot of Laws in our Universe. But the one we need to manifest our future is the Law of Attraction. You might have heard it before, but what it is exactly?
Law of attraction
Like attracts like. Everything begins with that simple sentence. It’s a Universal Principle.
When I first learned about the Law, I was trying to understand the science behind it. There is actually a lot of science behind it, that it’s going to probably give you a headache (also there are a lot of articles about it in the web if you wanna search it), so I don’t want to start rumbling about why or how exactly it works. Think about it like electricity. You just click a button and you open the lights, you don’t have to know the whole science behind it and why it works. It just works. Or like gravity. You don’t really understand how and why it works, but if you throw an apple off the table it will fall.
Since it’s a universal principle, it applies to everyone (like gravity) either you believe it or not. It always works. However, if you start being aware of it, and practicing it you’ll start controlling your life.
I want you to recall a moment when you had a song stuck in your head, and suddenly you heard this song everywhere. Or a moment when you thought of a particular person that you haven’t seen for some time, and a few days later you bump into them on the street or they message you on Facebook. That’s the Law in action. You see our thoughts vibrate energy. So when you constantly thinking about something, one way or another you will bring it into your life. Period.
Every single thought of yours has a vibe, and it attracts things to you. Either bad or good. But what is really amazing is that an average human brain makes about 50.000 thoughts daily. We are thinking even when we watch TV or we sleep. When we think about good things we attract good things into our lives when we think about bad things we attract bad things to our lives. It’s really that simple. But how are we supposed to be aware of 50.000 thoughts every single day? That’s when our feelings come in.
Positive and negative feelings
When you feel good chances are you make happy thoughts. When you feel bad chances are you make bad thoughts. So if you want to make sure that the energy you’re vibrating to the universe is a good one, you have to be constantly happy. Pretty simple right?
Who are we kidding, of course not! That’s the number one thing everyone who starts practicing the Law struggles with. It’s the hardest thing to do. So we need to work on this as much as we can.
Every feeling has a different vibrational frequency. So we put these feelings on a scale from high to low. Emotions like appreciation, joy, and excitement are high vibrational frequencies. Feelings like anger, frustration, and guilt have low vibrational frequencies. Vibrations always match. So when you’re happy or excited you’ll attract happiness and excitement. When you’re angry or frustrated you’ll attract anger and other “low frequency” feelings.
Now that you’re aware of that, you must focus on your vibe, and the energy you’re vibrating to the universe. We are humans and for sure we’re going to have some “down” moments, and bad feelings. It’s normal. That’s when your mood boosters come in hand. Make a list of your favorite mood-booster songs, focus on things you’re grateful for, read a book, listen to a podcast, watch funny videos on Youtube. You’ll not climb the “scale of feelings” immediately. Acknowledge the way you feel, and slowly start moving upwards, one “feeling” at a time, but make sure to reach a state where you vibrate positive energy out in the world.
Visualization is one of the most powerful practices in the Law of Attraction. It’s going to help you focus on your goals and make you feel more confident about accomplishing them. It’s actually a pretty easy practice and a huge mood booster also. In the first place what you have to do is get a board of any kind. Then you have to find pictures the represent the moments or the feelings or the things that you want to attract in your life. You can also use words that you want to attract like “Love” or “Health” or even some affirmations. And last but not least, don’t forget to add a picture of yourself, so it will help you with the visualization (try to pick the happiest photo of yours!)
What’s also important is to pick the things you will put on your board carefully. You don’t want a messy future, do you? Focus on creating a clutter-free and simple vision board with the things that you really REALLY want in your life! For sure you may want a million of things but you have to focus on what’s more important and what will make you feel good. Again your feelings will be your guide on this.
There is no limit on the vision boards you can create. You can make a career one, one for your dream home or a personal one. It’s totally up to you. Just make sure to place them in a visible place so you will see them every day. You could put your career one in your office for example. Also, you should dedicate some minutes every day to your vision boards. Just take some time, sit comfortable and imagine. Visualize yourself achieving your goals with all of your senses.
A little tip, the best time to visualize is right before bed. About half an hour before you sleep, you enter your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is harder to access than your conscious. The beliefs you have, your emotions, your reactions and your thinking patterns are all in your subconscious mind. While our conscious mind is our awareness at the present moment. We are aware of our environment, our breathing, or the people around us. So when you visualize before you sleep, you’ll add these “images” to your subconscious and these will replay repeatedly in your mind, helping you to manifest your dreams and goals!
Write things down
I’m a big fan of handwritten notes. I think hand-writing helps you to put your thoughts in order and declutter your mind. So in our case, grab a piece of paper, and write down how you want your future to be. Choose a time frame, like 2 or 5 or 10 years from now (it’s important to be precise about that) But! Write in present tense. Like you’re already there, like you’re already living your best possible future. Write about your feelings, the things you see, the things you hear, the smell. When you involve your senses you enhance your vibration. And not only that, you almost feel like it’s already happening so you feel amazing! Try to be as detailed as possible! Describe your house, your career, your clothes.
A little detail. Don’t focus on other people’s actions. You can not manipulate others. You can not make someone like you or love you. Law of Attraction works on ourselves and on our experiences. You can not control other people’s lives. You only have power over yours. So keep that in mind and try to focus on the feelings instead of persons.
Your Best Possible Future Guaranteed
I know that a lot of people are skeptical about the Law of Attraction, and not really believe it works. That’s okay. I’m practicing the Law for about 2 years, and it hasn’t been an easy process but I know it works for me. Both for happy experiences and bad ones. I’m not trying to persuade you to start using the Law of Attraction, that’s a personal choice. But if you want to have an amazing future guaranteed we can all agree that we have to make a few changes in our everyday lives.
Create your Vision Boards so you can visually focus on your goals, write down about your best possible future with every little detail and focus on feeling good. Focus on being happy. Keep in mind the way you feel, and let this guide you to your best possible future!
