October feels like a fresh start to me. I feel productive, motivated and focused. So this year I decided to start the Blogtober challenge!
Life

Hello October!

Goodbye sweet September and Hello October! One of my Favorite times of the year. Cozy sweaters are out, pumpkin spice is in the air, and days become crispy and cool.

I don’t know why, but October always feels like a fresh start to me. It’s the month I feel the most productive, motivated and focused. So this year I decided to take advantage of it and join the Blogtober challenge. To be honest I feel some “pressure” already but I’ll just relax and enjoy it. My “Basic Fall” Playlist is playing in the background (soon I’ll share it with you!), I got my vanilla latte right next to me along with a few chocolate chip cookies, wearing my comfy pajamas and I’m ready to write!

September Recap

Wow. What a month. September was a crazy month but definitely a life-changing one! I could never believe I would actually write my first Blogtober post sitting in my own apartment’s couch. From the beginning of the month I was officially a house owner (well.. actually a renter). I had to go through a lot of paperwork and a lot of cleaning. But I would never change that because of the feeling of having your own place, being independent and well… I’m also living with John now so that’s even more amazing!

On September I also “officially” started my own online Blogging Community. Which is super huge for me, because I wanted to do this for so long, and I’m so glad I pushed myself to do it. All the support and love I got so far for this group is amazing. I could never believe that I would actually make this community a group of besties who love blogging and talk about it.

Apart from these two, I had to plan Blogtober too. I had a lot of ideas for the upcoming month now I just have to give them life!

Blogtober

I learned about Blogtober last year, but it was like in the middle of it and I was planning another challenge so I couldn’t participate. So this year, I decided to take a leap of faith and join the Blogtober challenge! I know that for some of you might not be a “big deal” but you know that I’m working as an insurance agent daily and I have a brand new home now so I’m still adjusting to this new life. But I rearranged my daily schedule and hopefully, I’ll make this work.

About Blogtober, I think it’s more like a personal challenge. There are no specific rules, you just have to publish a new blog post every single day for the month of October. But since my schedule is a bit busy, I decided to take the weekends off. So on weekdays, my new blog posts will be going up every day at 8 pm (Greek Timezone). That means 6 pm UK time and 12 pm CDT (Central America Time). Also if you want to be informed weekly about my new blog posts, subscribe to my newsletter here to get all the updates to your mail!

Thoughts for the upcoming “season”

For me, the last trimester of the year is a particular season. Each of the remaining months has their own beauty and I just can’t wait to experience all these festivities and seasonal things in my first apartment. I’m so excited for this new chapter of my life and the fact that it started in my favorite season. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything I have in my life right now and for everything that the Universe has in store for me. I hope you’ll enjoy my company for the next couple weeks and I can’t wait to share my stories and chat with you every single day!

Also if you’re also joining the Blogtober Challenge please make sure to drop your links below from your first Blogtober posts so I can have some reads tomorrow morning!
